Contingenci® by Good Human Awards Princeton Veterinary Clinic for Commitment to Creating a Greener Future

SAN JOSE, CA, Nov. 4, 2024 -  Contingenci® by Good Human proudly announces the Princeton Veterinary Clinic as the recipient of the company’s Environmental Recognition Award for the clinic’s dedication to environmental sustainability. This reward was given at a recent community event in celebration of National Veterinary Technician Week. The Princeton Veterinary Clinic was awarded for using the Pro-Veterinary Green and Clean System, which has resulted in financial savings and conservation of resources while reducing waste and carbon emissions. 

The Princeton Veterinary Clinic has prevented over 100 pounds of waste from reaching landfills in five months. The clinic also saved more than 25,000 gallons of water and conserved almost 6,000 kWh of energy, and a projected annual impact report predicts these numbers will jump to over 60,000 gallons and 14,000 kWh. While the organization has saved money toward their utilities, these efforts have simultaneously proved the effectiveness and prowess of utilizing this operational model. The clinic’s success suggests great potential for the employment of broader eco-friendly initiatives within the medical field. 

In a summary of its outcomes, the Princeton Veterinary Clinic reported that switching to the Green and Clean System helped them save enough money to pay for the groceries of a 4-person family for three to four months. By employing this strategy, the organization’s combination of financial wisdom and ethical stewardship has yielded a 91% investment return. Currently, the Princeton Veterinary Clinic is positioned as a figurehead for renewable healthcare due to this demonstration of achieving balance between profit, productivity and responsibility. 

Contingenci® also recognized several other companies committed to sustainability with raffle awards. Some clinics that were recognized for their dedication to reducing waste and conserving resources include the South County Animal Hospital, Calaveras Veterinary Clinic and the Morgan Hill Animal Hospital. All these recipients have introduced sustainable products and practices into their operations, further promoting the value behind environmental consideration and the mission to make environmental preservation a standard within the veterinary care industry.
