Contingenci® by Good Human Hosts Halloween-Themed Community Event for Vet Techs and Local Sponsors

SAN JOSE, CA, Oct. 29, 2024 -  Contingenci® by Good Human hosted a special Halloween-themed event this past Sunday, October 27, to honor local veterinary technicians in celebration of National Veterinary Technician Week. The celebration brought both community sponsors and professionals within the veterinary industry together for entertainment, collaboration and education about how businesses can be made more sustainable and reduce their utility costs. The gathering was successful with many individuals in attendance. 

One highlight of the event was the Heat Press Activity. Participants were invited to customize items with Halloween and vet tech-themed stickers and logos from their vet clinics, making for memorable and personal keepsakes.

Patrons also participated in collaborative activities, including bingo, karaoke, numerous sponsored raffles and a costume contest. All attendees were offered complimentary goodie bags with sponsor discounts, including 20% off Hi-Power Cleaning Solutions services and a free appetizer at The Last Round Tavern with a $50 purchase.

The celebration included an educational segment promoting Contingenci®'s Green & Clean Towels. These products are sustainable alternatives to cotton towels that have the potential to help veterinary practices save up to 90% in energy and water prices. Contingenci® highlighted the environmental and financial benefits of the items, promoting that these towels will reduce laundry costs by over $19,000 and CO2 emissions by up to 7.47 tons annually, and use 21,000 fewer gallons of water. 

The night concluded with special recognition for the Princeton Veterinary Clinic who was awarded the Climate Impact Award for their commitment to sustainability and dedication to improving the practice. By implementing Contingenci®’s Green and Clean System, the clinic has significantly reduced its ecological footprint and conserved essential resources like water and energy. The clinic’s commitment exemplifies the widespread potential for sustainable practices within healthcare services, emphasizing the benefits that responsible choices bring to both the planet and the community.

The party offered an invaluable opportunity for local businesses to connect with the veterinary technician community, raising awareness for both the contributions of these industry professionals and sustainable practices that benefit their workplaces and the environment.
