I wasn't sure what to expect, but decided to sign up for the pet toy crafting workshop. The experience reminded me of fond memories I had from middle school when we would craft cool objects by hand and I got to dive into my creativity to make something new and unique.
In the workshop, there were a couple options for different toys to craft and I had plenty of time to do both without feeling rushed at all.
I learned some stats and interesting facts about waste and sustainability that shifted the way I think about fabrics and various resources that we use on a regular basis.
The biggest highlight for me was that the Humane Society brought some puppies to interact with 🥰
Linda and the whole team there are lovely people and it's a really cool space with all kinds of equipment and resources to bring your creation to life, so if you decide to give it a try you'll be in good hands!
I attended the DYI Pet Toy workshop last Sunday and it was an amazing event. The owner, Linda, and her team were beyond impressive. The passion and dedication to make our planet more sustainable was infectious. And my dog loves her octopus toy that I made for her.
I highly recommend any activity Linda holds. I will return for sure!
5 star review!
My dog birthday is coming up so I wanted to make him a toy as a gift . I took my daughters with me so they can make something for him as well. We had so much fun and everyone there was helpful and nice. There were tons of supplies for you to make stuff. We loved the energy there and Linda and her team are awesome.
I absolutely loved this workshop, the people are so amazing and welcoming. This was a great way to spend my Sunday and will definitely be back
When working at a vet clinic - time is precious. These quick-dry vet blankets allow us to provide fast and long lasting heat (versus a towel) to pets in need. The fact that they are easy and quick to wash and dry (and much less bulky!) ensures we always have them on hand when needed. 10/10 would recommend!
